2011/2012 Ski Season

***UPDATED***

 Well the Doug Myers Race was a great success, we had a podium from one of our girls and a 10thfor are girls aswell, and for are boys a 4,5,6 and 9th place finish on Saturday then we got 2nd overall on the Sunday heats. The 9-10yr olds as well as our 11-14yr olds got to try there hand at skier cross and "YES" we will be participating in that discipline next year for sure! March 10-11 we are at the Castle race with the 10 and under kids so stay tuned for great results on that one. A special thanks goes out to our clubs parents who did a wonderful job volunteering this weekend. So spread the word on what our club is about and lets see if we can double our clubs numbers for the 2012/2013 season

Well the first month has come to an end. I would like to say thank you to Eugine from Double E Photography for our great team and individual pictures, He did a great job. The first K1 race was a great experience, lots learned. The calendar has been updated so please check it out for all of our up to date information

I trust that everyone has had a chance to get out on snow this month, I know I have. With our Christmas camp rapidly approaching I need to know no later than Dec 23 if your kids are planning to attend any, or all, of the days(Dec27-30th) PLEASE respond with yes or no and if they are snowboard or ski, this will make it easier at a glance to ensure what numbers the coaches will have. If you do not have a jacket then you will receive one on the first day of the camp, we will be starting at 10am but the coaches will be waiting just outside the lodge at 9:15. We will be wearing orange coats so we will be hard to miss. We will break for lunch at 12:00 and head back out at 1:00 and finish at 3:00

Info night at Gravity sports 1667 Dunmore Rd Wednesday Dec 7  7pm-9pm (if you still need to register and or pay this will be the night to catch!)

I trust everyone is more than happy to see that the ground is finally white! Time to get the skis/board out and tuned, Take them into Gravity and talk to Ben/Glenda to get a fresh tune up

Well hopefully all of this warm wind has not done damage to all of Kevins' hard work out at the hill, as of now opening date for the hill is December 10th. Please visit the calendar page for all of the important dates for the season. Official start date for all kids is the first day of Christmas camp on December 27th. We have no registration dead line however try to get signed up now so that you don't miss out on our camp.

Due to the good time had at our last Zumba class we are looking to add atleast 1 class per month so stay tuned.....

It is official!! the season is officially under way. I would like to say welcome to all the new families in our club, you are now apart of a fantastic club. With a good turn out at our registrations we have a fantastic base to get the ball rolling. We have plans currently under way for dry land training as well as working on our race schedule for the season (check back every Friday for updates).
